As time passes slowly and winter seems to be endless there is hope at the end of the tunnel. I hope!!! This year has truly been crazy in my world for scrapbooking. I have not had that much time to create my wonderful albums or join in with friends and share. I am hoping that spring will renew my time and interest in doing what I love best.
I received many new Cricut cartridges over the holidays. They are all truly wonderful. The one that I seem to be drawn to is Sportsmania since I have been making sports albums for others to enjoy. Toy Story and the Old West cartridge really go hand in hand for all the you could need for Woody or Jessie.
With all my new cartridges I also received a Cricut rewards certificate. With these certificates you can earn points that enable you to receive free cartridges from Cricut.
As the days go on I will be posting new photos of designs and layouts that I have created with my new and some old cartridges. Please share your favorites with us all. Would be happy to see all those wonderful layouts!
Have a great day and remember that there is light at the end of the winter tunnel!
Happy Scrapping!

Mall of America
The Mall of America was awesome! There were so many ideas, wonderful people, and limitless resources of new products. I have a few photos of some of the simply brethtaking displays that could be made for free or in the classes that were offered. I personally did not take any classes. This was my firt time attending and I did not want to be stressed by trying to attend classes. I spoke to many people who only attend classes and they never create the make-n-takes. I guess it just depends on your wants and needs; totally a personal preference. Above are some of the photos that I took of the classes!
As for the make-n-takes the lines were long for certain companies, those included, Bazzil, Prima, Bo Bunny, Custom Designs, and the longest line I waited in line for was Yellow Bicycle. Most of the other companies were moving along fast. I found EK Success very cute since they offered American Girl designs. They have a new line with all the new American Girl paper, stickers and embellishments. It really is very sweet all the the dolls are showcased including all the activities they do.
I am looking for the next major event so that I can attend. I have decided that I want to visit a few majow scrapbooking events now that my kids are older and I can get away for the weekend. So if anyone has a favorite event that would like to share please let me know.

Scrapfest!
I am getting so excited that the time is drawing near for the Scrapfest at the Mall of America. I have purchased my pass! Each person has to purchase their own pass so that if they would like to register for a class they can. I not sure if I will register for any classes yet but I do like to see what is being offered and I enjoy learning new techniques.
I have created three new albums since last I posted and I finally was able to uncover my Cricut to use. I have to honestly say that I did use it for the last three books that I have created but I am looking forward to trying out my new Gypsy.
If anyone has any suggestions on what to do and how to create it just let me know! I would love to hear from you on how your worked, what you created and especially what is not working!
Until we talk again, Happy Scrapping!

Gypsy from Circut!
As I getting unpacked I was watching TV and found on HSN the Gypsy from Cricut! All I have to say is WOW!! It was really a great deal and so easy to work. I began by linking all my cartridges and then I started creating. The process was so easy and fast! I also received reward points for just purchasing the device as well as two cartridges.
I have two baby boy albums to create in the next few weeks so I began putting the layouts on the gypsy. Now all that is left is linking up to the machine and cutting. How easy!!!
I am looking forward to displaying all the wonderful pages that I create after I am done. I am still working on getting my scrap area organized and ready to roll!
Give me some feedback if you have a Gypsy and how you like it and what works techniques worked best for you!!!
Have a great day!

Getting Unpacked!
Well Monday I was finally able to unpack most of my scrapbooking supplies! Whew what a relief they have been in my new garage for the past three and half weeks. The weather has been crappy and my scrapbook area was not completed.
As most of you know I went through all the my stuff like I have never seen it before. I was like a kids in a candy store! I also purchased the the Gypsy from Cricut and I have to say that today (Tuesday) up uploaded all my cartridges. It was so simple and fast. Now I have to learn how create wonderful images.
Now comes the task of the best way to store and display my supplies. I have so much paper that I have told my friends if I purchase another piece of paper just shoot me. Most of friends say well we scrappers can not have enough paper. You just never know what you might need. I am sure that you can relate that the perfect piece of paper is just at the next stop.
I would love any and all suggestions that anyone has about the best possible storage solutions that work. I would even love to see some photos if you anyone would like to share.
I have found someone who will be attending the Mall of America event with me do I have any more takers. I am open to having a group!
Looking forward to seeing and hearing about suggestions!
